Has Char's bike been stolen? Maybe time to look in the garage. The Bill ought to turn up to meet the advertiser on spec. That looks so nicked it's not true.
The... er... garage looks like a bit if a joke too. Just the sort of place you'd expect a nicked bike to be broken.
trying to get the fuzz interested will be zero, I notified the MCN guy at Benson meet about my neighbour who had over 30 articles on ebay, bikes that were stripped, and did he have any contacts, theres no way on earth they are legit but he wasn't interested, I do hope its not a stolen bike.....
A quick google of his number, he is well prolific. Has all sorts of items, Audi R8 calipers, airbag units, trek bikes emperio armani slip on shoes. Its wether or not the 5 oh would be interested!
So let me see then: he's just a bloke who has a lot of miscellaneous stuff for sale - like anyone would have, you know, Ducati Streetfighters, bits of Audi, bits of Citroën, bicycles. Or perhaps, he just operates a service for all his mates who can't use the internet, or spell. Or he has a business which involves collecting miscellaneous items and selling them. Or he's a thief and/or a fence. Frankly, if you had to take a guess?
Sorry but the police are too bust handing out free flip-flops to drunks to worry about such trivial matters as stolen goods... Police waste £10,000 on flip-flops for drunks | UK | News | Daily Express
Already reported this to WMPolice vehicle crime unit. The officer is going to follow this up and see if a bike reporting this description has been registered on the PND.
ok, I text the number in the advert and asked how much for the end cans and the forks and received the reply £500 .so a set of ohlins forks and a set of Yoshi carbon cans for £500 bargain of the century or stolen......I know what I think.anyone around Birmingham loose a bike?
anyone on other ducati sites can post this and get the word out. if its stolen and owner can trap him then job done. I think if he suspects hes rumbled the sim will be destroyed and he vanishes.
