It has been used on one ski trip, and also my summer bike tour through the Pyrenees in June this year. It takes fantastic quality video, and is the HD video camera of choice imho. The rechargeable battery lasts upto about 3 hours recording, and it's a great bit of kit. Lots of reviews out there, and also on this forum. It's the same camera as used by BVG - Baron von Grumble! I know I had one...for four months. It got smashed when the entire weight of the bike drove it into the gravel in my off at brands hatch earlier this year. Technically the camera still works, but its not longer waterproof as the gorilla class is missing
