Well got I got a multistrada with the intension of going touring with the wife. So to get the ball rolling I've booked us on this tour. NW200 and Donegal - thrill of the NW200 road races and the dramatic scenery of Donegal | WHITE ROSE MOTORCYCLE TOURS I love bike racing and am planning on going to most of the BSB races next year but have always wanted to see the NW 200. If any of you fancy coming I think there's a few places left. would be nice to meet a few of you and compare notes
i live in northern ireland and for what your paying you could book your own ferry/hotels & do all whats in tour itenary cheaper than whats quoted. plus you will have no shortage of lads looking to tour about on any day over the NW200 week..
This is my thinking... I would rather pay the £500 and tour northern France with a few close mates, or even a few from the forum for a week.
Hmm.. but like I said it's my first time so wanted to get to know the ropes before I go it alone. having never been out of the country before on my own.
How did a 17 year old get his hands on a Multistrada.... Seriously, its only Ireland, very similar to England except the guinness is better. We even speak the same language! And you should really venture down south also, some beautiful scenery and roads, especially where I am on the famous "Ring of Kerry". Work out far cheaper as well and I can put you in contact with plenty of lads if its company you want!
I have done a couple of organised tours with mates, then dropped the operator and we did it ourselves. Was it as good? Probably, although I had to research some routes and things before hand for the rideouts during the days, but that became part of the fun but asa. First stop, and if doing it alone, its a good way to cut your touring teeth
Think Bradders is right, it is prob the right thing to do for your first time, especially with the other half.
