Three times I've had a satellite bloke round . Symptoms are no picture due to high wind battering the dish, its happened again so I've rung him up and told him I want the dish replaced , like I told him last time. He's coming tomorrow , god it's a pain with no tele when the only way to receive it is through satellite . What gets me though is why cant I watch stuff on planner, its saved to my hard drive Shirley . Or on demand as that needs a working connection , yet nowt happens . The Phillips 3d tv I bought new for £1500 last year has an abomination of an online operating system , I think a PS4 is going to be an essential if this carries on .
Hi Peter i'm a aerial & satellite engineer self employed own business. is the dish in a open position ? ie on a chimney etc ? can it be relocated to a sheltered position ? There are numerous types of bracket available. for mounting dishes in problem areas. Cheers Paul
Bet the poor bastards who are flooded out round our way with no power due to the weather will have the utmost sympathy with your dire predicament. OGR
Well technically he says one will be essential so I guess he hasn't yet....... Although your free to stand by at least part of your statement
Have you got any trees in the vicinity of the dish? I had this and in windy weather they were getting blown into the signal area and affecting it, chopped some branches and no more trouble. OGR
