  1. Hi all,
Thinking of going to this next year but my riding buddy will be on his Triumph. He's a bit concerned that turning up on anything other than a Ducati will mean he'll end up at best ostracised and, at worst, strung up from the nearest tree!
Personally I think he's over-reacting but as I've never been to the WDW myself I don't know for sure.

So I'm relying on your collective knowledge to provide some reassurance for this sensitive soul!

  2. No problem, loads of other machinery there, no one bats an eye.

  3. I went in 2010 on a KTM950SM without any issue, parked up at the circuit surrounded by a zillion Dukes, plenty of other bikes there

  4. Where do you get tickets for WDW events ? Anyone offer advice ?

    Regards
    Davy

  5. Dealers or through a Ducati official club two that I know of

  6. Tickets available on the day at the car park to the left of the main entrance, don't forget to pick up your goodie bag once you get in.

  7. Your mate can bring his Triumph to WDW without fear. Non-Ducatis aren't banished to a separate "naughty corner" parking area, but are right in there with all the Ducatis.

I spotted a very obvious green Kawasaki parked up in the middle of all the Ducatis at WDW 2012 park. One of my favourite pictures was of a BMW R1200GS with Russian licence plates and a sticker on the topbox saying "Do not follow me - I'm lost too", outside the "International Village" tent.

  8. Cheap decal kit of eBay should sort out the issue, bit like this owner did, sure no one will ever notice

  9. ahh doing my hair those 2 days :p

  10. I cant understand why anyone would want to go to WDW on anything but a Ducati.

  11. If you want tickets, join one of the 4 official UK Ducati Clubs as they will have a ticket deal again for WDW2014.
For WDW2012 it was half price - the full 4 day ticket was €40 instead of €80 - so even if you only join to get the ticket it's worth doing.

  12. Desmosedici owners get a free ticket I believe. Superleggera owners get a free ticket and a BJ ;-)

  13. The UKMOC membership is free. Win win.

  14. Indeed, as is SDC.
I'm not sure if Rob is going to do tickets (as it is a *ton* of hassle!) but I'm sure something will be on the UKMOC website about it.

  15. Although you do need a Monster to be a full member
