Why would this Elephant treat the tourists any different than you would treat an intruder in your own home . It's always brilliant when they say "Briton's car trampled", as if, had it been a Dane or a Latvian, we couldn't give a toss. They shouldn't have shot the elephant though, the car had ample time to reverse slowly. You're going to go into the wild, expect strange things to happen - that's why it's the wild. Maybe the elephant was having a bad day. I know how it feels.
Pointless waste of a magnificent creature, Some people are so dumb and the animals always pay for it. We got told when on safari in Kenya if any animals looking slightly grumpy get the hell outta there...... I went on an organised trip and our guide wouldn't go anywhere near them, scared the shit out of us how fast they can move and how much damage they can do. Best viewed from afar

Some people ar born with brains and some common sense it's rare you get the two together and then some people have neither. They said they shot it on the news because they now did not know what the elephant would do in the future, i would of thought happily live it's life out if idiots would leave it alone.
