  7. I haven't updated yet , guess I'll wait for iOS 8 :wink: , every time I have updated since I've had the 4s I've had to re-enter my providers details, my daughter doesn't have to do that on her HTC , or is it just me ?

  11. All those mails will take up space on your phone and make it slower

    Always clear your mail via PC otherwise like I did when I synced my mail on my new iphone I had up to 2500 starting to load
    Thank goodness I deleted the account as I had 26,000 mainly Ducati related emails that would have tried to load on my phone and probably stopped it working

    Deleting mails on your iPhone does only that and not from your PC

  12. IOS 7 doesn't work well on the 4s because the processor in your phone is too small
    Unless your geeky to apple products like my other half you probably wouldn't have any idea like myself

  13. iOS 7 needs a powerful processor—the "brains" of the device responsible for carrying out what the software commands. Apple designed the operating system for its most powerful chip to date, the 64-bit A7, which includes both a CPU and an upgraded graphic processor. The OS simply won't work on chips that predate the A4, the earlier and weaker chip powering the iPhone 4. (Some users, of course, complain that it barely works on the A4.)

    It also doesn't help that the iPhones 4 and 4S—the earliest devices eligible for this software update—have half the onboard memory, or RAM, of the newest iPhones. RAM holds recent data for easy access, so the more you have, the more data you can access quickly, and the faster the experience feels. The iPhone 5S and 5C boast 1GB RAM. The 4 and 4S each have a mere 512MB.

  15. So you are saying then that my 4s is only barely capable. Not good , so as I haven't updated , I shouldn't , does this mean then that the 4s is at the end of its useful life as any upgrades now will contain more information than my phone can easily run

  16. I was running the iPhone 4 on IOS 4.3.1
    It's was fine
    Some apps I couldn't run

    Internet was fine
    I didn't have I messaging

    I was able to upgrade for free to the iphone5 s otherwise I would still be using the 4

    I was advised not to upgrade to IOS7
    on my 4

  20. Er yeah ,phone calls ,internet , internet banking , app this app that , in fact I appen to use it a lot.
