You should try the new Drift Ghost-S. It has better exposure options and in low light, in addition to more slo-mo frame rate options.
I treated myself to a Ghost HD, great camera and much more subtle than a go pro when mounting on your helmet.
Been watching these on eBay for the comical factor. It's amusing watching people bid on these things and paying more that they would if they just bought one. :biggrin:
actioncameras.blah.blah do them with a 10% discount quoting a geezer code off youtube who rides around with one strapped to his bonce. His handle I think is roadcraftnottingham, or something like that. Not a discount for the Ghost S though as it's only just out; fnar fnar. My Goperv is up for sale (Hero HD) to fund said purchase of a Drift Ghost.
That Baron von Grumble code doesn't work, just tried it. Rang Action cameras who said must be an old one and we don't know the codes!!!!! So put phone down and went else where for my 10% off. They lost a sale and the customer care response was a bit ccc. (couldn't care less). Bought a Drift Ghost and some bits from a place that does care.
Action Cameras are the manufacturer of Drifts BTW. Bear that in mind when they offer "independent advice".
I have had Drift, the 1st one, in fact I had 2 and used them both at the same time. Both were great until they failed - neither would focus. Drift after sales were fantastic and I received a full refund, that was after almost 1yr of use. I replaced them with a GoPro Hero 3 Black. I would say the quality of the GoPro was fantastic but I did not like the mounting options, not actually a mounting problem just the shape of the camera. But with less than 30min battery life and that was regardless of what battery I used...back it went. I replaced the GoPro with a Drift Ghost HD - Totally satisfied, mounting and shape is great for motorbike or helmet. Quality is excellent but I would say I think the GoPro has a slight advantage here. Battery life is that long I never bother about it. I have a spare battery but never needed to use it. I also use a smartycam HD and I would say the Drift is better quality. See Youtube link of my 1st trip to Almeria on the S1000 in November. Front view is smartycam rear view is Drift Ghost HD - note I had the drift on upside down (turned leans wrong way) so I had to reverse the image, hence date and time is balmy.
