I am thinking about riding from the UK to the Mugello GP, on my 748. Can anyone provide advice on route , how long it takes, and good places to stay overninght
I have done it before but not on a bike : It is about 800 miles and to be honest i took quiet a direct route as i was working there. So it was just a case of getting from A to B using the motorway over there . Yes it was a boring run but i left here at 05.00 and i was in Florence at 19.00 Hrs in the evening drinking a glass of wine. How long to you want to take on the route down i suppose would be my question ?
Back in the days of ducatisti, someone posted up a route from Calais to the Alps that basically involved no motorway. The guy lived in Switzerland. If you're now on here, please help!
Did this last year but enjoyed it over 2 weeks and also the Assen GP too, my route went something like this... Hull to rotterdam rotterdam to assen assen into Germany following parts of the fairy tale and castle roots stuttgart for the Porsche museum zurich to andermatt andermatt to rapallo rapallo to Pisa to florence florence to mugello Way back was again something like... Mugello to bologna (along the futa pass) bologna to lake como lake como to chamonix chamonix to reims reims to calais calais to home Pretty much all twisties apart from on the way to Assen and chamonix to reims
