This weekend I managed to put the bodywork back on along with mirrors etc and took some pics but I have tried to post some photos but do not seem to be able to do so. Duke, if you PM me your e-mail address I can share them with you directly and maybe you can post them. Alternatively guide me as to how to post the. Gary
Wow! When were these taken? She looks very different now back in her standard colours and little worse for wear in terms of engine casing etc.
Some time in 1997 as far as I remember as I sold her to a lad from Pershore in 1998 to buy my 900ssie. It also had a PFM floating disk conversion. The paint was by Dream Machine and was applied from new.
Attached is a picture just after I put all the bodywork back on last weekend. I do not seem to be able to add pictures only attach files so not sure what is going on.
Duke....or should I say Adrian; it came with a load of paperwork including the Pre-Delivery Inspection Certificate dated 1st Jan 1995, old V5's and MOT's etc along with mint condition Warranty & Maintenance Booklet and Owners Manual. The V5 notes 4 previous owners, so that would be you (03/01/1995 to 12/02/1996), then Beverley Hooper (12/02/1996 - 18/10/2012), Gary Walker (18/10/2012 - 26/02/2013) and finally now me. So not bad for a nearly 20 year old bike and all credit to Miss Hooper for keeping it for 16 years!
Thanks. It is in the same colour scheme as when I acquired it, so it must have been changed from the Mike Hailwood colours quite some time ago and I only found a hint of them when I rubbed the fairing down.
Here is another picture of the bike taken last weekend. Since then I have added back on some 'Dr Desmo' decals that were on it when I acquired the bike plus some other final little tweaks; so when the weather is better I take some final pics and post them. She has also been out for a shakedown run in advance of booking her in for her MOT and all seems to be OK except that I feel I definitely need to add the mirror extension pieces that I bought as all I can see are my elbows!
