nice bike one aside, surely the 996r was the 1st testastretta engined bike not desmoquatro? is that how they came from the factory?
Yes, it was. I think the description is to indicate the number of valves and the operation as the Testastretta engine still is a Desmoquattro but with a narrower head angle.
