For Sale Ducati 1199 Up-map Key 96524211c

  1. New up map key for the 1199 Panigale. For use with Termignoni slip on exhausts (not the full system). I think it may also work for other exhausts such as Acraprovic etc, but please check first. This key plugs into the bike and unlocks the engine mapping from the ECU for the exhausts. The part no. Is 96524211C this is the newer version key that replaced 96524211B. As far as I'm aware they both do the same job.

In a bid to stop people buying up map keys to unlock other manufacturers exhaust systems, Termignoni will not supply up map keys separately they will only be supplied as part of an exhaust kit. They are like hens teeth. I know this well as I bought some Termis without an up map key and spent months and a fortune tracking one down, then ended up with two!. I've had this key checked out by my local dealer and it is ready to go. Ducati can unlock the map for you without the key but it costs about £300+vat and if you want to take the exhausts off for any reason it then costs another £300 to return it to stock. So this is a good opportunity to get your hands on an up map key for a lot less. I'm looking for £250 including postage. I'm sorry to have to say it an no offence intended, but after having my pants pulled down on ebay a number of times, I've started DNA marking parts I sell to prevent people returning their duds for a refund. Because of the nature of this part I can't accept returns. If your interested pm me. Cheers. Jason. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

  2. Hi, pm'd you.

  3. Hi,

I have a 1199 Panigale S with Termignoni fitted and in the box of parts that came with the bike was an up map key (96524211B) i guess the bike has been updated just interested to know what this setup adds to the original specification. I am very happy with the performance of the bike just wondered how much better than standard it is?

    Regards

    Richard
