Cannot fault JHP ,Coventry ,John helped me to fall in love with my multi 06 1000DS ,remapped my ecu for my through pipe ,serviced ,changed my sprockets and chain , my bike picked up from home and delivered back safely, great service.
Had my first service yesterday. Great dealership. Very professional and got fed biccys by John. Ace day all in all.
i know what you mean paul..every chance i get i go up to jhp.. cracking bunch off lads who will bend over backwards to help you out,
One thing i did notice that made me convinced of their professionalism was the fact i've coated the engine in ACF 50 - to keep away the worst of the winter road crud - and lashed the chain with some old engine oil. When i was having a butchers around the workshop area, i noticed the tech working on my bike giving the engine area a good looking over using a torch. He called his gaffer over and he came to see me - to find out what i'd been using. The tech must have been concerned that the bike had sprung a leak. Nice attention to detail. I won't mention watching one of the lads assembling a D16 motor with the greatest care and precision..
sorry but since my last rave about them I had a bad time with them and won't be going anywhere near them....but hey they won't close down over it lol....
all the details are on a similar thread mate if you have a few minutes to read it you may well understand my reluctance to use them again am sure for every one bad review they get 10 x more good ones so maybe i shouldn't be too hard on them. I now have made a personal choice not to use them again cheers G
I've been having major problems with my wife's triumph Daytona 675. I had a local triumph dealer do a shim service on the bike and to cut a long story short they messed it up big time. New valve, bucket, cam and gaskets needed. After ringing six local engine company's I wasn't convinced that they could fix it. So I rang John in JHP to see if he could point me in the right direction. He said cos I'm always up there having something done to my ducats he'll have a look at it for me. So I took the engine out, through it in the van and took it up there today. I've got to say he explained exactly what had happened and showed me things about engines which I'd never even thought of. I really can't fault this company and would totally recommend them.
the usual group are doing aragon again this year beginning of may.......i think there are 12 or more of us atm....
I went into JHP in December 2006, their reputation got me to go there to order the new 1098. I had £500 csah in my pocket for the deposit , i was excited to say the least. got into the showroom , no other customers there , a salesman came into the showroom , i tried to speak to him but he brushed past me saying one momenet sir ! he went to a phone and orded sausage sandwiches, poped his head out of the office door and shouted to the parts lad ...do you want sauce ! , has he came off the phone i tried to speak again and he brushed past agian saying one minute and disapeared into the back somewhere !.. I had lost my excitement and exited the shop never to return , got the 1098 from Italia in the end
i realy do find this hard to believe...as i know john Hackett runs a very tight ship.his staff are the best in the business and will go the extra mile to satisfy the customer, john has shown me letters from customers that are over the moon with service that they provide..
