does the exup exhaust valve get removed when your fitting cans only ,instructions look a knigtmare ,cheers
Yep. Default fail safe is open. Once the cable is disconnected, then it's not going to be cycled upon key on. This is when they can stick if corrosion has set in. It won't be an issue with the silencer kit fitted though
cans on and ive got to say what a flookin knightmare , this is without doubt the hardest bike ive ever had to work on , you need an oxford degree to understand the distructions and I aint got one ,so just need to get out and see if theres any difference,
They make the bike a bit more open and smoother, but to be honest as far as noise, (and lets face it thats the main reason for fitting them) I'm a bit disappointed, they don't sound as dramatic at low revs as the Termi's on a 8/10/1198. You only really appreciate the sound from 7K onwards which means you have to ride round at 120mph+ which is good in theory but apparently frowned upon.:Grumpy:
Try, Removing silencers when one of the 3 bolts holding them on is knacked, so having to remove whole system to remove silencers and spending hours figuring it out how to do it and realising have to unbolt subframe and rear headers lambda so needing to unbolt ecu to get to lambda plug and THEN re-fitting the whole system STILL with cans attached to pipework... AARRRRR!!!!!!!
