I believe the hubs are the same across 916, 848, Hypermotard, (old) MultiStrada and the Monsters that have the single-sided swingarm. Just watch for the differences in the speedo sensor bracket, where fitted, as discussed

 

Hmmm ... the sprocket carriers and axle sizes are the same so I would be surprised if it was.
I know the 1098/1198 has a much bigger axle and they are different to the 848.
But I may well be wrong.

 

Be surprised too as everything inlc wheel and carrier fits both. I fitted a 916 QR hub no problem

 

so the singing dancing 848 is no further forward than the 1994 916...

 

Only in the eccentric hub itself, the swingarm is different though!

I wonder how different the 1199 hub is compared to the 1098 design, or if it's essentially the same thing again but the axle shaft itself is just bigger...

 

they do look the same too.......i know the wheels fit...
