  1. Hi all

I'm getting a dedicated track bike so I'm selling my track fairings which I bought last year and wrapped lovingly (goodness only knows how many hours work but I missed many editions of One Born Every Minute which is a plus - I detailed all the work here).

They are finished in brush aluminium with carbon lowers, white number boards with carbon pinstripes and a red Ducati logo on each side panel. If you didn't like the number boards they will simply peel off with a little heat and a bit of patience. The Ducati logo is embossed on the front mud guard and in the carbon on the belly pan it has Ducati Corse......looks bloody good IMHO :)

They were used on 1 track day in September and that's it. If you're tracking your 848/1098/1198 these are a great option to save your OEM fairings if you have a little slide. They come with all the infills (air tubes, side panels, fairing triangles and nose inner)

Bad stuff? The rearmost tab on the belly pan (one of the 3 that hold the 2 halves together) is broken but a couple of screws and some reinforcement would sort it. Its wrapped so there are a couple of areas (basically the side air scoops) where the wrap isn't quite into the deepest part. I was intending to cut the wrap and infill the scoops with carbon look but never got round to it.....1/2 hour job Id say.

I'm based between Winchester and Southampton and ideally these would be a collection as they are big but I can courier if the buyer arranges.

£250 ono. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

    Alistair

  2. Why didnt you tell me you were going to sell these when we met at Goodwood. Would have saved me untold hassle ;)

  3. ON MY GOD!!! Is that the Polo?

  4. Well I did mention it but I hadn't sorted a track bike at that point :)

And yes it bloody well is....the beast!

  5. Are they road or track fairings? As they retain the headlight and rear light.

  6. Yep these are road fairings so you have all the holes for lights (front and rear) and the mirrors. I rode to the track day with them on, took off the mirrors and number plate and taped up the lights.

  7. Just for clarity, these fairings were bought as I was intending to use them on trackdays. The OEM ones are too expensive to replace should you have an off. I guess some might not call them 'track fairings' as they dont have blanked light holes, but Im sure you can see what I mean.

  8. Personally I'd keep these as spares, especially after you went to the trouble of wrapping them

  9. Thread closed. :)
