Hi all, so to be able to work on SS when it is cold or during night I need some kind of none electric garage light. Any idea if/where I could buy some kind off gas/liquid fuel lamp?
You could use either a LED battery powered inspection lamp, or a camping lamp, gas wise campingaz do gas lights that run on their cartridges. Or when it stops raining in 4 years time do it outside in the sunshine ( I think that's what they use to call it )
Colman do a pressurised petrol storm lantern Lucasz...however, with your luck, I'd have an electric one........pressurised petrol and flame + Lucasz, doesnt sound like a good combination.....Lol......
Nog's right, Lucaz you may won't to consider just working in the daylight....it could be better for your health!
Lol my thoughts too I would go safely luca with a head torch I can see the headlines now Crispy Luca and SS after gas lamp ignites fuel in garage saga
Maybe I would have if I was from Durham, but there's no pits in Hartlepool, never was. It's an ex shipping town, that now services the the petrochemical, nuclear and offshore industry. Sorry I can't be of any help
How old do you think I am? Fishing and shipping here was long extinct, before my days of spanner turning. If I did have anything like them tho....you see me on one of them antique program's on the telly, converting them to Ducati funds!
Lol you don't have to be old Anth you may have acquired some that luca could use Nice lamps though
Who is pressurising the petrol for you? Do you have to get the carriages from a shop? Oh hard choice, first has nicer but second one has bigger .... lights.
Lucaz, I was under the impression you where doing a higher eduction/degree course? I hope you where paying for it yourself, and not the public paying for it. Maybe a stint back at school learning basic skills could be more worthwhile................... Never seen a camping shop?
I do not see a link between the two as it all depends what one studies. Also did you not hear that school does not teach you real life things, just theory or complete rubbish? Most gas lamps are shit. Was not certain people would still use liquid fuel one's. When I go camping I use open fire as light. So was waiting for suggestions or other idea's (like battery powered led lights that I still do not know are any good).
