My heated grips stopped working yesterday, first the right then the left then the left came back on then off :-( any ideas, no rush shouldn't need them for a while lol
Mine did the other week as well... Ducati are replacing them under warranty for the 2nd time (just got the claim in before the warranty ran out a week later)
That's exactly how mine failed when I had them replaced last month. I was advised there is a new PN so assume the units have been revised. Hopefully they are more robust now.
Sorted mi grips a very nice man gave me a new right hand grip, the plug is under the tank! Couldn't face that job so I did a "bodge it n scarper" job n chopped n soldered the wires at a more convenient place.
Hi, Can anyone tell me if the multi heated grips should stay on constantly (once switched on) or do they switch on and off? I thought they were supposed to be very good? Yesterday I used them for the first time and was rather unimpressed, even on the hottest setting they did not come anywhere close to the set of oxford heated grips I had fitted to my last bike. Is this another trip to the dealer?
Something wrong there mate. My grips are far far better than anything I have had from Oxford aftermarket range, warm up proper quick and Max is too hot at the minute by far. They do seem to cycle on and off on the lower two settings as I have seen the display show up while already on
I found this most unnatural....pressing start once the bike is running...expected to hear an 'orrible noise....nope just a warm feeling in my hand that would please even the most inebriated tramp.
Mine are nothing like you describe, not even close. Thanks for your comments though, hopefully th dealer will sort. Currently on my second fuel sender though....
Something definitely wrong there pal, mine are seriously hot on there max setting, only used them on max a couple of times on the most freezing of cold mornings. Take it to the dealer, and see if you can compare them to another multi there if there,s one with heated grips.
