IT issues, catching yup on a weeks emails, another client bollocking, more IT issues, updated my sales plan....gym and now a nice slag bol. Cup half-full-floweth-over
oh and stuck some leave request in for the rest of the year to line up a 4 day trackday with mates in Spain
Got bored, walked to the shop on crutches (twice) and had another go at the broken exhaust studs on the cbr. Keep telling myself I was in hospital only a week ago and I'm doing too much, I'm supposed to be resting. Paying the price now, knee is killing me.
I guess if the dealer forgets to remove it I ay have to wait until the warranty is up and take it off myself
Loaded it up ready for Scotland! Had a mare.... Decided to ride my dads bike up as they won't both go on the trailer because of the strap positions.
Dawn til dusk at Brands Hatch on the Indie circuit. Had a great day as the weather was good and neither of us fell off unlike far too many others did today. More red flags than I have ever seen and the unluckiest had to be the guy who's sump plug unwound down the start fininsh straight, dumped the oil into the catch tray down Paddock Hill and ceased up the hill to Druids where it highsided him and left about 50 yards of oil and coolant on the track. Memo to self, check the sump plug before Silverstone. Met Final Edition and JerryXT who came down for a gander and had a good old chat - thanks guys, it was a pleasure to meet you. At the end of the day bought a 120/70 Metzler Racetech K1 and a 190/55 K2 for £285 - bargain especially as I was told that they are in short supply to the general public. Just got back and unloaded the bikes so will have a cold beer and go to bed. Andy
Just read an article in this months BiKE mag. They said the 899 had the best brakes they'd ever seen/datalogged. Stomped on the F3 apparently
just got end of year figures. bumper year yeh! bumper tax bill boo. deffo bitter sweet. wasn't expecting that. might be a cheep bike on the market come January.
Set up a conference call later today. Followed up on some smallish projects. Booked flights to Turkey
Try 'em both and then see what you think. That sort of verdict worries me, when a magazine goes against my direct experience and also the opinion of other publications. I then ask myself, if they say that, what other things are they saying that are tosh and how impartial are they really?
more snot..managed to crawl out of my death bed and drop seats to upholsterers £200 + vat for 748 front and rear with gel being put in front.. bit pricey i thought but cheaper than a corbin i guess..
walked about like a busted ass, their really is no point putting these long hours in. just end up doing half as much the next day.
