No, my old job. I knew it was going to come to an end soon, but the way it was done has left a bitter taste. As you know it's my brother's company, but it was his partner who made the decision. I cocked up a job, fair enough, but not irreparably so, all it would have cost to put right is my time, which I was willing to give, and certainly not worth the bullet. But he did it anyway. I've just spoken to my brother and he's a bit embarrassed by it all. I just told him to make sure my money was straight, and asked to borrow the company van for a while, and we're pretty much settled. I could go down the unfair dismissal route (which it certainly was) but I can't be doing with bad blood between brothers. We're close, and I intend to keep it that way. I'll wait til my wages have been paid, then beat the crap out of his partner...
No, I fancy a change. Same job, but with a bigger more stable company. And no more installation work; that's a young man's game.
Put some pictures up around the house, moved others around and celebrated passing my first grade exam for bass with this toy: Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass to go with the P Bass. Just need some talent now.

Time to service the 748R OE slipper clutch after 6 track days and fit the replacement clutch master and slave cylinders. Got so far and realised the clutch centre nut was going to be a bastard so time to go shopping. Picked up a refurbished Dewalt 18v high torque impact wrench from the local tool shop which dealt with that nut in no time. It's going to be great with the Multi and Diavel rear wheel nuts. Now I need to decide if I refit the OE 3 ramp slipper that still has plenty of miles in it or the nice new 6 ramp and ball light weight slipper I got earlier in the year. Decisions, decisions. Andy
