  1. This is a brand new, never fitted lightweight aluminium 6 post/6 ramp & ball slipper clutch. It comes with everything you see in the pictures which includes the smaller 916/748/996 and larger 998 clutch centre nut and washer. If you are familiar with the Bucci instructions posted on this forum, it includes items 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17 and 18. Please note when I bought this in February, I missed that the advert clearly stated it is a "road" clutch so the clutch centre is not deep enough to fit the 9 sintered friction plates, 4x1.5mm, 1x2mm and 4x1.5mm convex pressure plates that make up the racing pack that I run in my 748R. Rather than faff around I have decided to sell it and look for the racing version. Yours for £475 including postage within the UK mainland or £460 plus postage for those hard to get to places or collection in person (J13/J12 M4). I would prefer payment by internet bank transfer or cash however I do have a Paypal account but not being a regular user I do not know if £475 can be transferred as a gift so any Paypal payment must include their fees. Thanks, Andy

  2. Are you sure there is a physical difference between the road and race clutches?
I was under the impression that it was just the plates used that was the difference. Isn't the stack height the same as the sintered plates are thinner?
I have one and am sure I have run it with either arrangement.
    Could be talking rubbish however...

  3. No you are not talking rubbish, that's my prerogative. It looks like I have done only half a job and jumped to conclusions so I will need to do some assembly work. The issue is that I am comparing the unique 748R DP 3 ramp racing slipper with an aftermarket Bucci like clutch and comparing individual coponents of the clutch has led me down the wrong path. A quick height check of the stacked components looks as though there is less than 1mm difference overall. Later today I will dry asemble both clutches on the bike and do comparison measurements and look at how much lift you get from the slave cylinder to see if there is the right amount of clearance with the nominal 36.5mm full clutch pack height. It also pays to look at what you have before you run off into stupidity because looking at my clutch pack it's a bloody hybrid with 8 sintered plates and a mix of 2mm and 1.5mm dished plates. Still it was tested on a dyno and I know from 6 days on track that it works. Andy
