found a replacement swingarm at the right price, seal kit in the clutch master cylinder, and a few other jobs, the oil cooler is a tight squeeze but its on.
A Few lessons today,The unions i bought yesterday are the wrong size,i found out PJ1 paint is not petrol resistant, any technical info you need, dont waste your time looking through the manuals, dont strip your petrol cap down to paint it......note the special Ducati fuel level sensor spanner, couldnt wait to get one from work tomoro
Chad thought pji was petrol resistant once it had cured through heat. Painted a few lc's with it once you cured it in the oven or running the motor was ok.
i was going to cure it in the oven but i was in too much of a rush, hopefully it will be ok when ....if it ever runs.
flooding problem sorted and it started first push of the button, its not run for 12 years i think,i just have a whining noise off the engine which i suspect is from the miss matched set of primary gears i put in...sounds like a v4 honda cam year whine, the engine revs fine so its nothing drastic.
Just had first ride on it,its in for mot,i forgot how lumpy they are trying to ride at 40mph in top,a tweek with the carbs may smooth it out a bit, happy with the dry clutch conversion, and everything seems ok.......for now lol
Yes its the same as yours mate, apart from the outer cover is black instead of silver,i had a fair bit of juggling about as the shaft is 20mm shorter.
