I’m too ill. I’m too old/young. I’m too fat/thin. I’m poor. I’m looking after a house. I’m more the ideas type. I’m far more valuable at HQ organising stuff. I forget where I left my boots. I’m too wealthy to be risked. I haven’t renewed my passport / never had a passport. I couldn’t break the law by crossing borders without a passport. I’m allergic to foreign foods. I need my medications. I’m a coward. What's your best excuse?
My excuse is the truth. Otherwise you have to remember all your lies. Truth is easier to remember as it happened.
People respect the truth even if they dont like it. But Ive had 5 days off sick in 4yrs. That was all an ear infection. I dont get sick really. Never had Flu. Only ever get sniffles from a cold, maybe a cough. Not enough to take time off work.
5days off, sounds like a holiday to me. i generally tell it like it is, unless i think i am gonna offend somebody
