I will be leaving Home about 6pm and going down via A137

Hopefully see some of you there :upyeah:

  2. Well, as usual i may have been a little hastey, at this rate i will need a jet ski not a bike

  3. Was packed last week, not sure about tonight

  4. It always was packed when I lived in Colchester....I think it was on a Thursday we all met up.......Some of us used to meet up at the Rowhedge Anchor and then go on to Great Bentley.

The Guzzi Club used to meet on Sundays at The Alma at Copford.

  5. I am still going to give it a try, unless it is raining sideways, then will give it a miss:rolleyes:

  9. That's actually a misspelling. It's the Great Benley Bike Meet and is reserved exclusively for owners of small Honda air cooled twins.

  10. It's OK...they all went home for T.

  11. Well, the Great Bently bike meet was on, not too many bikes but did catch up with 749man, weather was great, and a good evening was had.

Will try and do it again next week:wink:

  12. Nearly bought a cottage opposite the swan, corner of turkey cock lane

  13. The screen stickers worked a treat, cheers anth

  15. Think was the one to the left of that

  16. This is the one right on the corner (Vine Cottage, 366 London Road), there are two (joined) behind it facing the lane.

To the left are a pair of semi det cottages, which were both owned by women on their own. They face the green and are accessed off the track.

  17. Yes, sure it was a semi

  18. How long ago? I moved from there in approx 1985/86

    AL.

  19. They don't name 'em like they used too...

  20. Named after the pub that is actually the building in the pic.....The Turkey Cock Inn......Dick Turpin (see what I did there?) was reputed to have stayed there like he did in every pub and inn in the UK.
