1200 I've Only Gone And Done It......

  1. After much angst I've part chopped my beautiful 1199 for a brand fire new Pikes Peak with a full Termi system and heated grips. I was considering leaving the fold and getting a 1290 Super Duke but after talking with Count (thank you for the info) re the two bikes I decided to get another Multi as I know how good an all round bike they are. I previously enjoyed a base model 2010 Multi and I now can't wait to pick up my PP in a couple of weeks from Andrew at Moto Rapido after it's had the accessories fitted and Wilfs latest map installed. Yyyyeeeeehhhhhhaaaaaa!!!!!

  2. :upyeah: :upyeah: :upyeah: Good man now you know it all makes sense and will even moreso when you pick the red & white MONSTER up you lucky b*****d:cool: :p

  3. DUDE>>>> You Copy Cat.....(also said by the Count about me).:Meh:

Don't forget to add a rad/oil guard ASAP.

Get them to set the front fork pre-load for your dressed motorcycle weight.
If that's 19 & 1/2 stone; let me know the settings.

  4. I know, I know, but they are so good. Sorry but you must be quite a bit 'taller' than me as I'm about 14 with gear. I'll be sure to post how I'm getting on mind with comments on suspension etc after I've taken a look at standard sag etc. How are you getting on with the skyhook? By the sound of people's comments it's at least as good as the ohlins if not as eye catching. I like the sound of personalising each setting for my needs and road conditions. I'm looking forward to the exhaust system giving it some extra volume over my old bike and seeing what difference the PP screen and standard screens make to the wind roar I suffered with previously. Very, very excited.

  5. Speed mouse, as far as ACT is concerned he's definitely NOT that tall, said by the 1.78 metre tall bloke....Know what I mean?:Muted:
Sorry Mr. ACT no harm intended.....:Wtf:

  6. Whats all this nonsense about setting them up? Haven't changed mine and its awesome!

  7. I do not apologise for being hard to kidnap.
5'9" in old money....think scrum half left in the pie shop over night.

I'm just big boned (calm down ducbird).

I'm under tall for my weight.

    Etc ...
