Took a short ride on an 1100 V-Strom this afternoon. It's like riding on a flying carpet compared to my sports bikes. Might take it for a longer spin tomorrow if there's time.
Driven half way up the side of Spain..............then driven back from the airport.......... in short cooking people cooking peoples kids cooking passport control ......
Is that a new part of the route? I drove past Montpellier a few weeks ago, it's simply gorgeous around there. How long are you there for?
Not sure how old the route is. We have a week to explore the area. Have booked the first two nights in montpellier, then maybe Avignon or head towards one of the small fishing ports around the coast.
I was supposed to be starting a new job on Monday, but I had another job interview today - £3k extra and more holidays. I'll be emailing the previous company; they won't be happy, apparently my brand new van is being signwritten today...
sat on one of those new Parligianethingymebobbery bikes today,,, mmm nice,, I didn't think the single swing arm could look so good
just got back home after a week of working nights and driving from glasgow to exeter to london and back home. hope this good weather lasts the weekend for a decent ride out.
Well yesterday started ok, then I had to go to Castleford for a meeting, which wasn't the best of meetings. Straight from there I had to drive to Newark to see Steve Parrish at the Palace Theatre. Nightmare of a journey, as the A1 was closed at Tuxford most of the afternoon for some reason. What should have been an hours journey took over three, which meant I missed the first 10 minutes of the gig. And didn't have anything to eat! Parrish was good and spoke for two and a half hours. Hid daughter who hosted it was very pretty and held the thing together well. The journey was clear of any traffic problems and less stressful and took an hour to get home.
