Good to hear Steve parish's daughter is pretty, imagine if she'd been a monster she probably couldn't have coped. Phew....
Nothing. Im in a nether land while I wait for my pipes to return on Monday from Camcoat and then to CJS. The 916 too awaits front discs. Ive no road worthy motorcycle. Limbo.
I've just been to Holmfirth food festival and whilst I was sat having some food and a shandy who should walk by and smile at me but Sophie Ellis Bexter. She's quite diddy. But she has a nice smile.
Today I found out that my 750, which I only just got back on the road, has a broken RH fork leg. I thought it was a fork seal gone but there's an actual crack in it. Damn bike was back on the road for six weeks after being laid up for eight years. Bugger
Demo on the Diavel, nice ride and thinking on whether to swap the PP for one. Would just need to move bars 1-2 inches towards me for me to be a tad more comfy. Back brake works too which was a surprise! Lol Can't seem to upload a pic!
My 5 year old grandson came in at lunchtime and asked me "where does poo come from granddad ?" So, not wanting to spin him a line, I got a blank piece of paper and attempted to draw the human digestion system from mouth to the other end, explaining that food taken in at the mouth, eventually comes out as poo. Then he came back with "well where does Tigger come from then ?"
Stoned about another 1'500 damsons - almost a wheelbarrow load - to finish my barrel. Now all they have to do is ferment which will take a couple of months, then off to the distillery with them to be turned into plum schnapps. So I thought I might as well do a barrel of apples. I'm not sure how much preparation they really need, so I am coring them (suspect not necessary) and chopping out any bad or bug-eaten bits (probably for the best) and cutting them into little bits, seeing as I don't have a press or something to grind them with. Done about a third of the barrel - will finish it tomorrow. Also cut the grass - busy day.
Fitted a new clutch master cylinder to my Discovery, to add to the slave cylinder I fitted yesterday.. Should be good for at least a week now until the next thing goes.
