  3. blowing a hooly the day so no bike. to tired been mega busy at work, it's amazing what you can get done when you drag your self away from this thing.

  5. I've not had any flies on mine for the past month. They've all disappeared round here.

  6. Put the wheels, with brand new M7RRs, on my bike. Changed the oil and gave the 999 a good old clean - well, a 75% good old clean, I missed quite a few bits. It all got a bit emotional when my shit-cheap rear paddock stand started to let go before I could get the rear wheel back on. Rescued by the Abba stand, which I suddenly remembered I always use for changing the back tyre. Stupid bugger, that was close.

If I recover from it all, I'll go out for a blat.

  7. :upyeah:I was allowed home from hospital today.Great to be back home.Very sore and absolutely knackered.:( Could be the ideal time to play the 'sympathy' card with Mrs Mervyn for another bike.:).On second thoughts, perhaps not as she is looking after me really well.:)

  8. If my visor was anything to go by I must have collected them all at once, one second it was clean, the next absolutely covered.
It was a good ride, bit chilly first off though. It wasn`t even spoiled by the young lady driving one handed looking down at the phone in her other hand.

  9. Went for a ride on my new M7RRs. They felt very nice indeed but I really couldn't get a rhythm going so it's hard to tell if I prefer them to SportSmart 2's.

    So. Many. Cars.
Crammed to the gills with cars, lorries, horse boxes, tractors ... I don't think I saw one stretch of road that didn't have mobile chicanes trundling along it. Plus a lot of hip pain ...

Despite all that, it was nice to be out'n'about. It could have gone better though :)

  11. I thought exactly the same this morning.
I usually just ride mid week but can`t now as my shift pattern has changed. I`ve gone out the last few Sunday mornings, about 7-ish and the roads have been pretty quiet until about 10 o`clock. This morning it was about 8:30 when I left and the roads were chocker from the off.

  12. I decided today, that I want to be a multi-millionaire, like my dad.

Not that my dad is a multi-millionaire - he just wanted to be one

  13. I've spent most of the weekend doing battle with a weed.
It's a very virulent weed and in one area of my garden, is everywhere. The strawberries had all but disappeared.
It was supposed to be raining today, but was in fact nice. I got so close to getting my bike out, but there was always another weed to pull. Finally, I missed my window of opportunity and it did rain.
    Bollox.

  14. used to really like via gelia but been nicked last two times ive ridden it ,so try and give it a swerve now

  15. Could you tell us more please?

  16. That's a real shame because it's a beautiful stretch of road

  18. Up early and out to Goodwood for breakfast with my girlfriend and my next door neighbour. Lovely run down to Winchester, then the A272 to Midhurst and finally Goodwood. Not so many people today but a few cars I used to lust after including 2 immaculate Integrales and an original Gordini. Saw a 916 and a Pikes Peak as well. Much warmer run home although as others have already complained, a lot more traffic on the road moving as if they didn't have a care in the world and had all the time as well. Just had a lovely steak put in front of me with trimmings so I felt honour bound to do the washing up. All in all, a very good day today. Andy
