Do you read the owners manual to familiarise yourself with your bike or do you just wing it and hope for the best?
Does it still come in a book the size of a credit card but as thick as a dockers sandwich? WTF is that about?
I gave up reading manuals when I couldn't find the one that came with the misses. How do you switch them off???????
Yup that's the one....that's why I didn't read it. There is a .PDF of it on the Ducati website to down load so you can actually see it.
The actual UK section is only about 6-7mm thick but the book incorporates Italian, French, German and an add-on to the UK bit for the US, hence the reason it's as thick as a "dockers sandwich" (â„¢ XxAnthxX)
Yes. There are some aspects of the Multistrada that would be difficult to get a handle on by just winging it.
Seriously? Like what? From what I've seen both by reading about and trying stuff on the dash the 848 Evo corse is not too dissimilar from my past 3 jap jobbies. Don't get me wrong there are some things that are peculiar to the Duc, but I'd say it's about 10% if not less of he overall.
My clock was showing the wrong time. I did think about looking at the manual to change it but cba. Waited for it to go in to the dealer and see if they changed it. In my simple mind it showed that they had attention to detail and saved me looking at big red book which has toooooooo many words
Ah is that what those big numbers on the dash are for!......I often wondered what they were. So three digits starting with a 1 are a bad thing, when it comes to the law then?
