lol video.....im still talking about taping the tv and my wee son asked about cassette tapes and what are they...
I watched it yesterday and found it very good. As previously stated its quite emotional in places. The final sequence of Robert at the North West is both beautiful and horrible. Very much in the same vein as Closer to the Edge, but its more a story of Joey and Robert than William and Michael. All in all, very good indeed
Not sure if it has been posted here already but you will be able to watch it here: Sky channel 979 or 953 in HD Yorkie
Oh well at least I'll be able to s Watch it whilst I'm waiting for the Bluray to be released, it was supposed to be released alongside the DVD/video/Betamax/Video2000 but its been delayed till later this month.
I've had it on order from Amazon for months, got an email from them a few weeks ago saying it had been delayed.
Amazon now state a release date of 13/10/14 and £11 with free delivery in the UK. Road [DVD]: Amazon.co.uk: Liam Neeson, Joey Dunlop, William Dunlop, Michael Dunlop, Robert Dunlop: DVD & Blu-ray
wow emotional, thrilling, gripping, that Robert was one hard mofo and above all inspirational to have insight nto what makes those so driven push thru all barriers brilliant
Good film, good to see behind the scenes on the road racing circuit I even spotted a couple I know at the start The film footage on bike is pretty terrifying
truly was didnt realise Michael came upon it and was with the ild fella at the end. Or they were banned and just turned up ad rode. McPint knew to steer clear tho, that seemed obvious tbh he's gone up in my estimation (not that means anything) watching that.
I was in the grandstand by the grid in 2008 - I will never forget it - but I'd never seen the crash footage either. Quite shocking.
