busted my ass, haven't stopped, roofs leaking, floors soaking, customers moaning. all diagnosed correctly and repaired and charged out at book times, and still they moan. meh!
at 40ph on book times it better not be, although when they do moan it's always about the bill, normally followed by but i am going on holiday next month. just keep smiling fin just keep smiling.
bit like the couple who's house we are renovating, they informed us last week that they wont be able to pay about £10,000 of there bill until they sell their other property.... they then jump in the 14 plate convertible (bought last month) and go pic up a new 50 inch flat screen.... nice... well they will have no drainage or driveway till its sorted.. Should be a program on cowboy clients.....
Worked, refuelled car, ate dinner, walked dog (in rain), but just looked at the Webcams in Courchevel OMG there is snow!!! Yes I know it will probably disappear but as we are about to book our accommodation it is very very exciting. Why isn't there an ecstatic smiley????
I was thinking that myself. I remember a mate of mine had an aluminium rear disk on his race bike - completely non-functional.
Been to buy a bit of steel flat bar on the way home from the office for the projects - £8 for 4kg of steel seemed cheap...
Two Jehovah's Witnesses knocked on my door today. I decided to let them both inside and told them to take a seat on the sofa. Then I asked if they would like a cup of tea or coffee. "Two teas would be nice, please," came the reply. Then I asked if they would like custard creams with their drinks. "Oh, yes please, that would be lovely," came the response. Five minutes later I went back into the front room and placed the drinks and biscuits on the table, sat down and said, "So what is it that you want to talk to me about?" The first Jehovah shrugged her shoulders and said, "We don't know, this is the furthest that we have ever got."
I had a guided tour round Old Trafford One of the tour guides was a drop dead gorgeous girl from Bologna so we spent a sizeable chunk of the tour discussing Ducatis.
Spent all day checking over the new company website. It's looking good and on target for a December launch. Learnt that the local garage are still trying to fix the fueling on my car which is a bit of a pain. But I have a courtesy car till they do so that's ok. I'm now roasting chestnuts for an evening snack
Glad to see those Ducati Dollars being spent sensibly .... I've sent the Termis to be ceramic coated before fitting.
I, with others, destroyed a vibrant and useful web forum today. Feeling suitably shame-faced. Apart from that, I pretty much did sod-all
The Ducati dollars have done very well Paul, they paid for the ceramic Termig too. Have u fitted all the bits yet?
