Hi Guys New problem today , when pulling down red switch to start no power to anything , key is in my pocket . all ok when I do a pincode start but no way starting as normal ? Any ideas
Mine did this once, at Dover. Place your Red Key on top of Dash/instrument panel and it should re-set its self, and then hopefully start.
Thanks , just tried it and yes all ok , when go to try again normaly still no go but red key on dash no problem , any more ideas thanks
+1 on the battery, but you should be able to use it like the red key (i.e. hold it next to the sensor) even if the battery is low/dead.
The key battery on it's way out usually throws up plenty of 'Low Battery' warnings before it finally expires. However, if it's anywhere near your mobile that will interfere with its signal. Happened to me a few times until I made the connection.
had this the other day and it was near my phone did the pin code start and replaced the battery in the key fob as it was showing sub 3v under no load tried it a couple of times since and all is ok.
