You don't regret the stuff you owned or didn't own just the stuff you did or didn't do. I want to be able to say I was a good man and lived my life to my rules.
Yes. I don't regret spending the last 20 years empire building or owning fast cars, bikes and living in a nice house and being comfortable but in hindsight I do regret not spending more time with my wife and my children when they were young and doted on me. I know they love me but are all but grown up now and have their own lives. I don't have a bucket list but believe in the saying that 'the best things in life are free'. I think the trick is being able to see it and embrace it at the time.
Yep tis true. I must admit when I visit my younger brother and sister who have young kids that it puts my life into perspective and how I've never grown up. Still doesn't make me want to have kids though haha.
Done the kids thing my youngest is now 21, my middle one made me a grandad in 2013 my gran daughter is now 1yr old in a couple of days, love em to bits but it is my time now, I don't have a bucket list I just do what I feel like when I feel like..... hmmmmmm might explain why I can't keep a girlfriend for more than 3 months. Yep you guessed it I am fickle...................
Ha! No just started young! Although my eldest is old enough to make me a grandad and I'm only 40!........scary!:Wideyed:

Tony Hawks once wrote something that I thought was a good way to live, he said something along the lines of "I don't ever want to look back at my life and find myself thinking 'if only'- so I try as often as possible to say yes" Admittedly he then went on to hitchhike around Ireland with a fridge (great book) which is harder with a young family but I can dream of the future and what I might be able to say yes to!
