Quantum Physics

  1. Yes

Telecomunications, computers and the easy access to knowledge that it allows.

  2. i think we are all getting lost here with terminology like folk law and scriptures from the past. to deny god is to deny creation to deny creation is to deny the singularity.
so it is. and so it shall be.

  4. Have we drifted into the obesity is disability thread? This has killed communites, nit brought them together.

In years gone by, this whole thread would be in the pub with a few fellas over a few jars. Now its sat thousands of miles apart sniping at each other

    Well done technology :upyeah:

  5. @Loz maybes aye maybes naw.

  6. So the technology has brought together a community that would not likely be together otherwise.
We could try praying at each other across the ether if you like, i'll go first.....

  7. ...... No i don't think it worked either.

Did anyone else get my message ?

  10. Why, did you actually go out and talk to somene or even pick ip a phone and call them? Or is praying now seen as telepathy? Is that the humanist way of practice?

Not all technology is good, bearing in mind most traffic on the inetrnet is porn and a large % is child related porn. The rest is quantum related

  11. I think i demonstrated that technology(science) can bring together a community in a way that would not be possible without it.
Convinced that you are not actually interested in a discussion at all and like i said earlier today i think you are just having a laugh on an otherwise dull day. I'm out.

  12. Pascal's wager?

  13. I've never been fond of Pascal's Wager. The thinking behind it is superficial and simplistic (although ground breaking in its day).

  14. I agree. I suspect that God might see through the insincerity as well. Then where would you be? Worse off than the honest unbeliever, surely?

  15. Your out? that's another discussion.

  16. It might bring a community together but individually? Have you seen the pic on the random photo thread of all the kids texting rather than looking at the oil painting? That's an example of what technology can do

  17. Yes, that's because those kids, in an earlier age, would have been standing there critiquing the painting (and not firing off pea-shooters at each other) :D

  18. Yes but that would have been personal interaction. not by remote control. People are losing the ability to interact face to face, look at some of the posts on here. Would those things have been said if not at a distance ;)

Anyway, no one has yet explained why energy turned into mass yet:upyeah:

  19. Can't argue with you there. I use to have a friend who would ignore her phone if you rang her but reply almost immediately if you texted her. In the end - I stopped texting her :)

I know the answer to this one - is it 'rage'?

  20. I have. I always do. Keeps life simple.
