So I needed some chain rubs for my Magnesium swingarm. Having searched all over for some that would fit and failed miserably I set about thinking how I could make some. First I thought get the profile water jet cut then mill the surface. Then I thought what about that new(ish)fangled 3D printing malarkey? A quick brush up on my 3D CAD skills produced the models. And these arrived in the post yesterday. Oh and having to select a prefix for the thread is a bit daft, this applies to 748/916/955/996/998 bikes. Admin, can we have an 'All' option please?
Very nice, 3D printing will certainly be another option for the future. RS Online have started advertising quite a few models of printer in the last few month and the prices have not been as staggering as I expected.
Yeh I found those but I asked them for the dimensions before I shelled out a ludicrous amount of money. I found they wouldn't fit. As we know there are several versions of mag arm out there. Anyway they were about £20 each.
£40 and nice mark up which still makes them below market value by miles. The Chinese revolution has arrived in the UK Nice job
