Its no biggy mate, everyone thinks Vince is short for Vincent but its not I was christened Vanessa LOL . . . . . I would just love to see the look on all your faces when you read that first bit. I am named after my grandad, the English translation is Vincent but I was christened Vincenzo.
I once knew a young alarm installer from old Woking called Vincenzo...Benelli o something similar We used to call him the Italian stallion due to all his talk of his conquests with the ladies. One of our clients Paul Raymond (old geezer ran porn mags) had a girl friend or wife (much younger, our age) who was an ex centre spread. She dropped her knickers into his tool box and said that they were her only pair. He ran out and home, never mentioned girls again. Funniest thing that ever happened in that job.
I am not such a woos mate, unfortunately I got my dad's surname and he was English and it's the most common one in the phone book Should have changed to mums maiden name when they split nearly 40yrs ago but didn't think. Mums maiden name is Giorgino.
