I think you'll find that any divisions being created in society are down to Muslims who refuse to learn English and integrate (this is a fact: my wife is a social worker and this is a daily problem for her) or, in some cases, allow their daughters to marry outside their own community and even their own family. This causes birth defects and my wife who works with families with learning disabled children, is confronted by the problem of first-cousin marriage every day. Of course her training in being culturally sensitive precludes her from commenting but I know it causes a huge strain on services for everyone in the community and for professionals, from speech therapists and social workers to doctors and teachers. If they want to live here it must be because it's better here than their countries of origin, so they need to: 1. Learn English 2. Integrate socially 3. Adopt our ways. When in Rome ... 4. Stop marrying their children off to first cousins 5. Accept that we have a sense if humour and it is ok to mock/insult/offend people provided it does not break OUR laws 6. Their religion has the same value as any other religion and that people are free to believe that there is no god or that the moon is made of green cheese provided they do not force their beliefs on others. The end. That's it. No negotiation with fascists.

And I bet none of them agree with any of that, fundamentals or otherwise... times and attitudes are changing away from our 'leaders' idiotic utopian views of integration. They are beginning to be seen as a problem as a whole, it may well be the case - I am unsure, but wavering towards that view as will be many.
I fear you may be right. They are here but they don't like us and resent our success in many cases. That's a problem. Multiculturalism may yet come to be regarded as a huge mistake. When the chairman of the Council for Racial Equality, Trevor Phillips, questions its value you've got to give that view some credence surely?

Good points. But most of those murders are isolated single killings. Mass murders as per 9/11 etc by a murderous, organised group that has stated it wants to establish a pernicious state of its own - the caliphate - surely have to be confronted.
