Hey I think the front sprocket cover looks like very cheap nasty plastic and does not suit the rest of the bike. What have you guys done to yours? I'm also thinking of a rear hugger, any suggestions? Anyone tried a body coloured one to see how that looks? Pics please. Cheers
I have to agree the standard sprocket cover is very naff. As for a replacement eBay is a good place to start, carbon fibre or billet replacements are the norm. Whilst you are changing the sprocket cover I'd recommend putting a case saver on. As for a body coloured rear hugger I think you're on your own there. The usual hugger is carbon fibre with no colour. But I'm sure you could possibly find one.
A case saver is a strip of metal that is bent a round the sprocket and prevents the chain from carving a hole through the crank case in the event of the chain breaking
i have a body colored hugger (in black gloss) prefer it to carbon (it is carbon) but being black it goes unnoticed not sure bout in red or yellow (especially on mine!)
