I've got bar end mirrors on my Monster and they are very good for seeing behind; far, far better than the OEM fairing mounted mirrors on my 916.
Mine are the 'lanesplitter' version from CRG and they fold in on an adjustable joint but which memorises the open position (sort of like a car mirror) so quite practical, plus have great rear vision. I wasn't initially convinced but now that I have them I have to say they're the best mirrors I've used although I'm not sure if they'd be as easy to look in if they were on low-set clip-ons?
Ahhhhh I see, well I did apprentice as a toolmaker and passed Not a new Ducati owner either. Mind you I do balk at pulling my bike apart so hat off to project builders I ain't that brave unless it involves Meccano, Lego or Stickle bricks
Cheers for the link, might have to try one out and see how they go on low set clip ons, I assume you would tilt them to get a better view behind.
They're on a swivel/balljoint which you can set in any position/angle - hinge in and then they return to the set position.
Completely adjustable which will suit clip ons. Which means I can get rid of the stalk mirrors which will give the front end a leaner look
never been banned, never been banged up ,, never been cought,, and never had mirrors,, ( nor indicators )
Sounds cool, back in 85 my KE 175 mainly had bits made up in the tool shop I worked at, some done by me some by others, also worked on old ford pinto engines skimming heads and porting, my 2ltr used to shift, had side draught delorto's on it balanced by me, I wish I had all the tools I had back then at my disposal.
I had I had the Honda XL 125 built to last that was, my KE used to shed plastics over the smallest bumps
was that the twin exhaust ?,, my ke was fantastic .go anywhere , industructable and if I got it stuck I could always lift it out,, over fences anywhere , totally loved that bike !!
