London Black Athiests? Is that allowed? And how is it different to a white athiest? Or a asain atheist?
Tell you wat tho, its amazing how many hyper intelligent and articulate peolpe sit on both sides. Sure they look to ge the best they can on the TV, and most are simply 'my way or high way' but they know their stuff and can put forward convincing arguments all round Except the shouty muslim bloke. Its normally and atheist or a muslim who take that role on in these debates. Stimulated me anyway
i guess it's usually the most disgruntled that shout loudest. look at us scots for a start.:Angelic::smile: it's alright i wont be losing my temper.
In TV debates the participants know they will only be allowed to get in a sentence or two at best, so they are not going to squander that making concessions or admitting the weaknesses in their own position (if any). They are focussed on getting their points across if they can. And what's wrong with that?
I loved the ild ajewish fella, I assume he was Jewish I missed the beginning, that was so meh when asked to not elaborate an asnwer points he wasnt asked about. And the author on the front row, youngish fella and the lady historian (if my history teachers had looked like that...)
Yes the lady historian I liked her I liked the science atheist guy There was the Muslim guy One thing I noticed the Hindu guy was asked questions and then passed by at almost the end of the programme Lastly the lady rabbi made some valid points
Every Sunday morning. Normally has a number of issues to discuss, and more often than not have a tinge of religious connection
