Hi All, I am about to remove the engine from my 1997 carb 900ss to do the usual cosmetics to the paint. I will make up a frame to hold the engine to work on, as many know this will bolt to the side stand and rear brake torque arm (underslung rear brake) mount on the crankcase. These 4 bolts are very tight. Apart from getting stuck in and risking damaging the threads or cases, do any of the members have a tried and tested method of removal? p.s I have pre sprayed these with GT85 Regards Vtwin
I thought they'd be tight, brute force then and hope no damage ( sheared of bolt or stripped threads).
