If that was my bike then getting the screw out would be my first priority and this is how it would be done. Firstly purchase these: 5 X Strong Ring Magnets Countersunk Hole 5 mm Rare Earth Neodymium 15 mm x 5 mm | eBay Some of this:Kite Line. Nylon Kite Line. One Kite Line. 50 lb | eBay I would tie the magnets onto the line using a figure of 8 knot so that they are secure and then would proceed to go fishing for the errant screw until I had it in my hand again. Not bothering is sloppy and not what I would recommend. Hope this helps.

Strongest small magnets I have are those from a busted hard drive........ .......don't use them in the petrol tank though, because they lock-on so hard they are almost impossible to shift.
Yeah they're Neodymium too, strongest magnetic material you'll find. I've got loads of the stuff some are 70mm diameter 8mm thick, get your hand trapped between a couple of these and they'll rip your skin off :Wideyed:
I lost the skin off the tip of a finger when one decided to attach itself to a vice when I was playing around with it one day............ ............just as well I wasn't checking to see if I had balls of steel......
