Me and the missus went to our first ukulele class last week, - I bought her a uke a couple of years ago as she wanted to learn, but it got postponed for some reason. I've played guitars (badly) for the past 45 years, so the ukulele chords are pretty easy. There were a couple of spare ukes at the class, but I've decided to buy my own. I don't want a Tesco special, and I'd prefer a quality used one which stands a better chance of staying in tune and has a decent tone. Any thoughts? (don't worry, I've already warned the neighbours).
I got a Kahana Puretone for Xmas. It's fun. I also got a Gretsch semi acoustic and a SD Curlee electric given the other day. They used to belong to my late brother in law. The Gretsch needs a bit of tarting up but similar ones are going on eBay for about £1500
with a sledge hammer.. same technique as employed for the banjo and bagpipes. (although bagpipes respond better to a little petrol as well)

i know its unfair but some one has to say it, either thats a mighty small uke or one really fat fvk!!!!!
im on a roll... no seriously, i dropped it earlier and allthough i call feel it i cant reach it.. not sure id want to eat it now anyway with all that sweat and hair stuck to it....... maybe in the morning
