There's a hilarious live version of Bobby Brown Goes Down on the compilation/sampler Cheep Thrills. If you like BBGD, this live version will have you crying with laughter - it does me, every time. Back on topic: The obvious complete album is Close To The Edge by Yes - a masterpiece in the true sense of the word. Others include Sabbath Bloody Sabbath by Black Sabbath, A Wizard A True Star by Todd Rundgren, Meddle by Pink Floyd, Blue For The Most by Abraham, Simple Things by Zero 7, Under The Pink by Tori Amos, enough already ...
Too many Zappa album's to choose from but most complete would be You Are What You Is. IMO.. I could be persuaded otherwise. Wait. You called your dog "Frank"? Kudos!
Talking complete albums, not complete songs Both of those tracks are stand-out though, absolute genius.
there is a reason why i only have about 40cd's. i dont buy music unless the whole album is truly special. most music sounds thin if that makes any sense.
Some folk listen to albums and then make up their minds. Some folk make up their minds and then listen to albums. Both methods work perfectly depending upon the listener's needs or wants.
i have listened and watched a hell of a lot bands in my time. it has to be proper good before i will buy a cd.
CD's are pretty cheap (from Amazon). I normally buy a few every year on spec if I suspect that someone is interesting (maybe a track on the radio, a perf on Jools, or someone has given me a track). Some turn out to be stonking, others don't.
