Why on earth are you looking for somewhere to mount a tax disc you don't have to display them no more since October 1st 2014
The same reason we buy bikes with desmodromic valves, when metals technology means that valve springs no longer lead to valve bounce.
I make up my own tax disk now and it serves as a reminder for me when its due for renewal. if I only knew where to put it.
I understand the valve thing but I am so glad I dont have to display disc no more, no stupid add on stick out like sore thumb disc holder NO MORE!!!!
Thats what your mobile phone is for, set a reminder in the calender and get it to notify you a week before it is due. Simples innit.

There is an App called Zebra it is available for android and Iphone not sure about windows phone though. I set the date it was taxed on it, I use the section where the renewal insurance date is and it gently reminds me
