I'm hoping to carry out a radial brake upgrade to my 'icle beastie over the coming winter (did you notice the summer?). I won't bore you with all the details, but I need to either purchase some very expensive new 748R discs or place a 5mm spacer betwixt my existing wheel and disc along with some other jiggly pokey. Anyone have any or know where they can be found? Should look a bit like this...
dave wood can make you some (have seen spacers put on calipers too) DWR racing there are some 15mm offset galfer wavey discs on ebay for 200 quid
Thanks, I had a chat with him today. He thinks he might have some somewhere. But wasn't at all sure. Thought I ask on here as well...
My trouble was the other way around. Ended up machining 5mm off the mounting face of the caliper lugs Can't you put 5mm spacers/washers between the fork and caliper mounts?
