How Do You Refer To Your Bike?

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by triari, Feb 20, 2015.

  1. 'Frankenbike'

  2. Yes, ARGO would be a good name for a bike if your own name was Jason.

  3. Or if you are living with the Canadian ambassador :Shifty:

  4. Where can I get one of those lovely "polite" vests? I think they foster a great feeling between bikers and other motorists.

  5. Yeh,cause no one knew that ,did they?:)

  7. AGRO.

  8. The Italian Tart

  9. Ah, see what I did there!....much like Proserpina, of Roman goddess fame, the bike spends the winter months in the underworld (or possibly a garage) only returning to the surface of the earth when spring begins.

Inspired by a Martha Wainwright song frequently on the radio during my commute, rather than a mind marinated in the classics.

  10. When I meet another Pikes Peak rider I refer to mine as the "Pee-Pee" 'caused it drives them mad!

  11. SF, ST,HH.

  12. Troy and the beast, collectively, my sweeties!!!!!!!!!!!!:Facepalm::Facepalm::Facepalm::Facepalm::Facepalm:

  13. All mine are called bitch that way I can never get their names mixed up and accused of cheating ;)

  14. years ago when I picked up my first Ducati, due to my Scottish heritage Mrs Magic decided to change my name from Mark to Angus. I would from then on be known as " Angus McTwatty on his Ducati" ( yep, still with her):)

  19. I named 907 Fatbike and naked 900SSie Thinbike so gf knew what we were using for various trips. When I got 999 we called it Fastbike.
When talking to strangers about a bike I say I've got ducati 999 or whatever, don't call it a superbike.
