Maybe having a word with the developers then and suggest a size limitation on pics posted on threads Then there is no argument as site wont allow you to post anything bigger than what ever is stipulated as safe limit example 800x600, as long as it doesn't affect the picture albums, that way we can still have full size pictures of our machines. I know it can be done and its not that hard to do either, My web page operated that way and that was nearly 20yrs ago, web design software is way more advanced now, the packages back then were very basic. I ran fishing web page for one of the Angling shops we had back then in our town and people could up load pics of their personal best pictures, photo compression was crap back then and soon took up web server space hence why the page was recoded to stop pictures over a certain size to be uploaded. Best way to set limitations is pixel size rather than MB size. The reason being is you can have a massive picture that is only Kbytes in size as paint shop pro and other software is a dab hand at compressing pictures data size with out actually reducing image size. My beef wasn't the fact you deleted it, it was the inconsistency of it not being safe and the half naked pic of bloke was also a fair size it was not a thumbnail image.
I'm useless with this photoshop stuff, the last artwork I did envolved COW gum - having these logo's and more in a line down the back would look cool ? And perhaps we should add this one, to keep it up to date ?
Great ideas - but all heavily copyrighted. I am going to have to really try hard to get the Ducati Forum logo printed.
Surely this is the Harleyabletos motto together with "nothing is more efficient at converting petrol to noise, without generating power".
Its a horrible feeling when your post is moderated. I know! It's not fair nor is this forum a democracy. Democracy costs money. Just suck it up and move on...then grumble every now and then.
it is his forum and he can do what he likes with it.......even removing it if he so wishes..........but that would never happen ...would it????
Yeah your right and I would have preferred the honest answer of I didn't like your picture so I deleted it rather than the work safe bullshit I got.
Being censored often leaves the censored feeling aggrieved. Perhaps his comment was tainted with humour in order to try a minimise this?
