Sorry mate where do you want that bung ? It was over 20yrs ago god knows what happened to it but for last 10yrs if I have had to syphon it has been done by my first posted method So not so flash.
Yeah - as I say I did loosen the tank off - knock it around a bit (while listening ) and couldn't hear anything but, as I say ive gotta drain the tank again to put the new fuel pump seal on so ill double check....
Just finished putting it all back together - new seal in (fucking 33 quid for a rubber o ring!) and got a good seal - definitely no screw in there....not that I can see anyway, or hear rattling around for that matter...
Id just like to add that even if the screw did get down there then the actual point at where the fuel is taken in is actually about 10 to 20mm up from the bottom so it could never go anywhere...just for anyones elses information it wouldnt really matter...
Good news in one respect but bad in another as that means you will never get to use all the fuel in your tank
Ah but that could make the difference of just making it to the petrol station or running out a couple of miles before.
Not fussed about the electronics package but by heck that 1199 goes like stink, its a mental bike I love it.
Really ? They are mental too, if you want something a bit more user friendly the 848 version might be better.
Nope. 1098 all the way....managed to hold on to my project ktm 525 so ive got 2 tards now...so if i loose the hyper a streetfighter will fit right in!
If all goes well I will be picking up my new toy mid March so I am all excited again. I like the SF1098 just can't deal with the dry clutch I am so glad they moved to wet on the 848;s, 899 and 1199's
