  2. Whats the advantage of this ?
    Is it genuine ?
What is the weight saving over a std termi ?

  3. Generally:
It'll only fit 57mm pipe work.
    Much lighter than standard.
    Free flowing, no baffles.

  4. Haven't weighed it down myself but googling I found this from another forum:

Generally speaking as far as I know titanium is 40% lighter than steel.
Also one could make it fit the A-symmetrical system. This is done by removing
the rivets at the end and swapping the back plate with the one on the
A-symmetrical slip-on. This is the method Ducati used with the
conversion kit to full system, from slip-on.

  5. The silencer will also fit the 50 and 54mm systems.

  6. Just for information. This isn't the true race version, as it has provision for number plate hanger and rear light cable conduit.

    Nice silencer all the same.

  7. All the Termignoni silencers (except RS) have the plate and light mounting holes, including the rare full titanium system. All the full systems have a similar silencer with FOR RACING USE ONLY texts, made in titanium or stainless steel. Only the RS system is different.

  8. The real race titanium Termignoni 57mm ones used in WSS and other Supersport series didn't have captive mounting nuts for the brackets, or wire conduit mounting points.

There was someone on here or ducatisti had one, very rare, and they were going to drill and weld nuts on it for road use.

  9. I don't know what you are talking about. This is the Titanium Termignoni that was sold to customers at the dealers. For road bikes. No RS, just road bike for us normal people.

  10. I am in agreement with you ;)

  11. Please show us a picture. I have seen a full titanium 57mm system and its silencer had the mounting holes.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  12. While I appreciate every input I fail to see the added value of stating that it's not the "real" race silencer. In your picture one clearly can see the channel where the light cable goes. Also a system without the mounting points etc. wouldn't be interesting for road use. As far as the 999 goes none of the Termignoni exhaust where road legal.

  13. There is no added value, it was a "just for info" as stated. Merely an observation, which hopefully has shown there are different types of the Termi ti cans.

Indeed it has the routing for the cable tube, as they are all made from the same stamping dies.

Shame your one hasn't got the rest of the system with it, as I would be interested.

It is a good price and wish you well with your sale.

sorry to jump on your thread

  15. Mine came off stuart eastons 2004 749R race bike that was used by jhp in brittish supersport . It did not have any of the captive nuts but it does have the tunnel for the wire conduit. I fitted the captive nuts to it myself.

  16. Yours must've been the one I remembered being altered for road use. Iirc, someone into the B/WSS bikes was most upset that you did.

I know they had the conduit routing, as they were all stamped on the same dies.

  17. Sale pending
